That's your view on this debate. My view on it is completely different.

I agree with your "definition" of ox as "trans-left" (given in another 
mail). If I have to choose a label for myself, I would prefere that. From 
this standpoint I made my strong interventions against this "systematic 
sociologist", because his theories are entirely located in the 
traditional framework of thinking

Could someone let us know who this 'systematic sociologist' is, so that we
don't risk the heresy of mentioning him? Googling on the list only gives
me Georg Simmel, which doesn't sound so terrible?
