In general, I think these categories are only categories for
value-based economies. They are not valid in an ontological sense,
at least, you always have to clarifiy the status of these
categories.
Ich werfe die Frage ein, ob es nicht doch eine solche ontologische
Dimension der Wertkategorie gibt: Individuelle Aufwendungen und
gesellschaftlichen Nutzen ins Verhältnis zu setzen. Das muss ja nicht
zwangsläufig in der heutigen Form geschehen. Präziser (Franz Nahrada,
26 Nov) in den heutigen Formen (Plural)
Value has many forms: Äquivalentform, Money, productive Capital,
Zins, Revenue etc. - The "struggle" of value for its form is the
essence of the unfolding of capitalism and the reason for its
crisis.
In dem Sinne verstehe ich auch das Marx-Zitat von Ralf Krämer (26 Nov)
... ein schönes, realistisches Zitat von Marx (Kapital III, MEW 25,
S. 859, gegen den Wertkritikfetischismus:
Es "bleibt, nach Aufhebung der kapitalistischen Produktionsweise,
aber mit Beibehaltung gesellschaftlicher Produktion, die
Wertbestimmung vorherrschend in dem Sinn, dass die Regelung der
Arbeitszeit und die Verteilung der gesellschaftlichen Arbeit unter
die verschiednen Produktionsgruppen, endlich die Buchführung
hierüber, wesentlicher denn je wird".
Und Graham (27 Nov) hat ja auch ein schönes Denk-Beispiel für die
Transformation dieser "Buchhaltungs"-Kriterien gebracht.
Take a specific example: a design for an electronic circuit, now
and in the gpl-gesellschaft :-)
For this to have a use value it must satisfy some criteria:
1) Valid for any society: it must be physically possible ...
2) Partially valid for both societies: a design which will consume
less power is more useful. Today, that only applies if the design
is battery powered, since something which exhausts its batteries in
5 minutes will not sell. In the gpl-gesellschaft design for a
mains-powered device which consumes less power than another is the
more useful.
3) Valid only in gpl-gesellschaft: a design which can be easily
made without access to a huge factory is more useful than a design
which cannot be so made
4) Valid in gpl-gesellschaft, and actually negatively-valid (?)
now: a design for a device which can be easily repaired is more
useful than a design for a device which is throw-away only.
GPL scheint mir Teil dieser neuen Formen der Wertkategorie (im hier
verstandenen ontologischen Sinne) zu sein. Ich fände es spannend,
_diesen_ Aspekt mal weiter zu vertiefen.
